1. General information

This document describes how cookies and similar technologies (localStorage) are used on net-flow.pl and its subdomains, operated by Net-Flow Sp. z o.o., Warsaw.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on a user's device when visiting a website. They help recognise the device and remember preferences. The website also uses the browser's localStorage, e.g. to store the selected language and given consents.

3. Types of technologies used

• Necessary (technical): required for proper operation, incl. remembering given consents. They do not require consent.
• Functional: remember user preferences, e.g. the selected site language.
• Analytics: collect aggregated visit statistics. The website uses Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. They run only after consent to analytics cookies is given.
• Marketing: measure advertising performance and show ads to people who have visited the website. The website uses Google Ads and the Meta pixel for this purpose. They run only after consent to marketing cookies is given.

4. Managing consents

On the first visit the website shows a consent panel where you can accept all categories, choose necessary only, or set custom preferences. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer or the button below.

Independently of the consent panel, cookies can be limited or disabled in your browser settings. This may affect some website features.

5. Retention

• Session cookies: removed after closing the browser.
• Persistent cookies and localStorage entries: stored until deleted by the user or until the consent decision changes.
• Third-party tool cookies: for the periods listed in section 6. Withdrawing consent stops the tool; cookies stored earlier can be deleted in the browser settings.

6. Third-party tools

• Google Analytics 4 (analytics): aggregated visit statistics. Cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, stored for up to 2 years. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
• Google Ads (marketing): measures whether a visit from an ad ended with a form submission or a click on the phone number. Cookies _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, stored for up to 90 days. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
• Meta pixel (marketing): measures ad performance on Facebook and Instagram and shows ads to people who have visited the website. Cookies _fbp and _fbc, stored for up to 90 days. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

The Google script loads on every visit, but until consent is given it runs in restricted mode (Google Consent Mode): it neither stores nor reads analytics or advertising cookies, and sends Google only basic page-view information without cookie identifiers, such as the consent state, browser type and time. The Meta pixel does not load at all until consent to marketing cookies is given.

Providers may also store cookies on their own domains, as described in their privacy policies: policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy. Who is responsible for data collected by these tools and when it leaves the European Economic Area is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

The controller may update this Cookies Policy. The current version is always available at net-flow.pl/polityka-cookies with its last-updated date.
